Politics isn't working

Peace Not Politics
We don't promote a political position because politics doesn't seem to work right now. Instead we promote world peace for everyone. True, world peace is kind of a political issue. But it's an issue that effects every person, with or without an opinion on it.The UN is a toothless lion, it has no bite. A lion is considered king of the jungle, but what is the UN the king of? It doesn't have any of the political power to accomplish the one thing it was truly created to do, to end wars and bring world peace.

If the UN was able to get into power democratically, providing us with a world leader. What would that mean for all of us on the planet? Would the world become a better place? Should it be an option on the ballot paper, to vote for peace? To vote for a UN world leader? Is the UN a democratic concept? Is it even a possibility for the UN to be voted into power by the worlds people? Who has the power to give the UN power?
